STUDENT PUBLICATIONS
The Department of Student Life Studies serves as the primary planning, assessment and evaluation area for the Division of Student Life. The staff works to facilitate assessment and evaluation of services and programs within the Division of Student Life, assess organizational effectiveness and assure continuous quality improvement throughout each department. Departments within Student Life Studies include; Student Financial Aid, Barry B. Thompson Student Center and Student Publications. The J-TAC
The J-TAC, the official student newspaper, offers news and features of interest to the university community and provides a forum for expression of opinion. It is published during the fall and spring semesters. An orientation issue is published each summer.
The Grassburr
The Grassburr, first published in 1916, is the official student yearbook and is a permanent record of class, club, campus, athletic and other events. To order a book, please contact the Office of Student Publications.
The Student Handbook/Planner
The Student Publications office publishes the handbook, which includes information on many campus departments and organizations of Tarleton State University. The book features a planning calendar and schedules of events.
