573-3 Foundations of Reading. (3-0)

Examines theoretical models of the reading process, historical perspectives on reading instruction, and language learning. Develops an understanding of the construction of reading theory and its relationship to instructional practices.

Prerequisite Course(s):
Elementary, secondary, or all-level certification or approval of department head.
