316-4 Care of Adults for Licensed Nurses. (3-3)

Introduces a systematic conceptually based approach to patient centered care. Emphasizes the study of pathophysiologic and pharmacotherapeutic processes as the body responds to stress, injury, and disease. Focuses on evaluation of safe performance of direct care skills. Clinical experiences occur in the simulation lab and the acute care setting. This course is for LVNs admitted for BSN completion. Course fee $20. Lab fee $10.
