309-4 Nursing Care of Children and Adolescents. (2-6)

Focuses on chronic illness, disabilities and end- of- life issues of children and adolescents. Developmental vulnerabilities of childhood are considered. Emphasizes age and culturally sensitive care and communication with children, and their families. Clinical experiences in acute care and community settings incorporate an interdisciplinary approach in the delivery of care to children and adolescents. Course fee $20. Lab fee $10.
