215-3 Physical Assessment and Documentation. (2-3)

Fosters the acquisition of history taking, psychosocial assessment, and physical assessment skills of adults. Emphasis is placed on gathering detailed health history, differentiation, interpretation, and documentation of normal and abnormal findings with consideration given to developmental and ethno-cultural variations. Clinical/ laboratory experiences focus on norms in the well client while identifying common deviations in health status of adults. Course fee $20. Lab fee $10.

Admission to the Nursing Program.
