599-3 Practicum, Field Problem, or Internship. (3-0)

Supervised professional activities in workplaces where historians find professional careers including museums, historic preservation, cultural resource management, archival administration, teaching, parks, oral history, corporate history, and editing and publishing. Will count as an elective but not for teacher certification or completion of the history major. May be repeated once for credit. Requires approval of instructor and department head. Field assignment fee $75.
