Impact of molecular genetics and biotechnology in agriculture and industry; evaluation of changes, discoveries, and potential of genetic engineering; assessment of related ethical impact on society. Credit for both AGRN 511 and GEN 511 will not be awarded.

AGRN 309: Introduction to Genetics

GEN 309: Introduction to Genetics
or equivalent course.
