515-3 Animal Growth and Development. (3-0)

A study of the processes related to animal growth. Emphasis on cellular changes allowing for muscle, bone and adipose tissue growth as well as the role and functions of hormones related to development and age-related adaptation. Composition of muscle, bone, and adipose tissue in market animals will be discussed.

Prerequisite Course(s):
ANSC 107: General Animal Science
and approval of instructor.
