How do I contact Business Services?

You may contact the Business Services office in Stephenville by phone at (254) 968-9107 or (254) 968-9607.  You may also visit us in person in the Administration Building located at 1333 W. Washington.  Please keep in mind that due to privacy laws, limited information will be given to individuals other than the student.

Who decides how much to charge for tuition and fees?

Tuition and fees are governed by State Law and the Board of Regents.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, Tarleton accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover.  You can use your credit card to pay online through myGateway.  You may also pay by credit card in person at the Cashier’s Office or by phone. 

When will I get a bill?

Effective Spring 2009, the eBill will become the official method of notification of student billing for Tarleton State University. Paper bills will no longer be mailed by the University. Login to myGateway to access Duck Trax and click on Texan Bill Pay to view your Student Account.

Can I use a non-Tarleton email address?

We recommend that you use your Tarleton issued email address as your preferred email address in DuckTrax, since this is the address used by the University to correspond and send important notifications.  

What are the payment deadlines?

Please consult the Payment Options and Dates page for further information about payment deadlines.

Payment must be made by the payment deadline or your registration schedule may be canceled. If your registration schedule is canceled due to non-payment, a $100 reinstatement fee will be charged to re-enroll.
