BEAUTY

Deann Griffith

He creeps and crawls with dark, burning eyes,
And takes her in his arms.
She screams and cries and begs for more,
More of his seducing charm.

She opens her eyes and parts her lips,
A whisper she silently breathes.
She shudders and gasps uncontrollably,
And slowly sinks to her knees.

Her eyes reach out to capture his heart,
His mind longs for her soul.
Her lips come forth to kiss his eyes,
Windows, dark as coal.

Fiery hands he takes her up,
And refuses to let her go.
Her beauty, skin-deep, yet profoundly strong,
Has desperately captured his soul.
