Class Notes

Distinguished Alumnus: Ronnie Sullins ‘73
Ronnie Sullins is a successful banker who is a former Student Body President at Tarleton. He has served as president of the Tarleton Alumni Association and as a member of the Tarleton Foundation Board of Directors.

Outstanding Young Alumnus: Chad Fox ‘92
Chad Fox is an 11 year veteran of baseball's Major Leagues. He is currently a relief pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. Fox has also pitched for the Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox, and in 2003 won a World Series title with the Florida Marlins.

Distinguished Staff: Ronnie Giles
Ronnie Giles is the former Director of Recreational Sports. He joined the Tarleton faculty and staff in 1973 as a football coach and instructor in the Department of Health and Physical Education. He was the driving force behind the development of the Terrell Softball Complex and the new Recreational Sports Center.

Distinguished Friends: Don ‘68 & Georgia Henrich
Don & Georgia Henrich own Maverick Drilling Company, Inc., an oil and gas drilling business in Austin, Texas. Don is  a former President of the Tarleton Alumni Association and former member of the Tarleton Foundation Board of Directors. Don and Georgia have provided major support for the new Tarleton Alumni Center.

Distinguished Faculty: Joe Cude
Joe Cude is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering. He joined the Tarleton faculty in 1972 and retired as Head of the Department in 2001.

Distinguished Faculty: Ron Bradberry
Ron Bradbury is Dean Emeritus and Professor of Curriculum and Instruction. He joined the Tarleton faculty in 1969 and retired in 2005 as Dean of the College of Graduate Studies.
