SPENSER ADAMS : Mr. Adams is very excited to become a part of the agricultural education field. He believes in stuctured classes with plenty of hands on and cross curricular activities.  While Mr. Adams is knowledgable about all aspects of agriculture, his greatest experience levels are in the areas of Communication, Animal Science, and Horticulture. Mr. Adams is willing to learn more about all areas of agriculture.  His professionalism and ability to understand students' needs would make him a great asset to an agricultural education program. Currently pursuing a master's degree in agricultural education at Tarleton State University.

ADAM ELROD: Adam Elrod is eager and ready to start his career as an Agricultural Educator!  Adam has a well rounded background in welding, animal science, equine science, shooting sports, and in leadership skills.  Mr. Elrod has the motivation and persistence to try anything out of his comfort zone.  He works diligently and hard at trying to help students learn the importance of Agriculture.  He works well with others and loves structure, so another Agriculture teacher would not bother him. Currently pursuing a master's degree in agricultural education at Tarleton State University.

MOLLY LESLEY: Ms. Lesley is an ambitious, student-oriented individual eager to begin her career as a secondary agricultural science educator. With her combined education and background in various fields of agriculture, Ms. Lesley would be a good fit with any agricultural education program. She possesses exceptional verbal, written, computer/technical, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills; as well as a vast knowledge of agriculture, specializing in agricultural communications and journalism, production agriculture, leadership development, teaching, basic construction and mechanization/engineering, wildlife, the National FFA Organization and national and international agricultural issues and practices. She believes in a well-rounded, student-centered agriculture program and recognizes the need for accommodating the classroom for the present ever-changing economy and way of life. Ms. Lesley is ready to engage secondary agricultural students in various manners of learning in the new directions of 21st century agriculture.

KYLE MCCURDY: Kyle McCurdy worked for the Farm Service Agency, which is a branch of the United States Department of Agriculture, for more than 20 years.  Due to downsizing, the office where he was a manager was scheduled to be closed.   Having no desire to move his family again, he enrolled at Tarleton State University as a part-time student in the fall of 2005.  In April of 2006, he resigned his position with the Farm Service Agency, and enrolled full time at the university in the fall of 2006.  He completed a Master’s in Agricultural Education in May of 2007.  He decided to enter the Tarleton Model for Accelerated Teacher Education program at the university in the fall of 2007 to procure a teaching certification and write a thesis.   He is on schedule to complete his coursework in August 2009. Upon completing a year of teaching agricultural science on the high school level and finishing his thesis, he will graduate with another master’s degree in May of 2010.

SHELBY PARKER: An agricultural educator interested in joining a multiple teacher department. Specialize in horticulture, freshman courses and aquaculture, and wanting to get involved different events. Currently pursuing a master's degree in agricultural education at Tarleton State University.

WHITNEY PETREE: Ms. Petree is excited to begin her dream as an Agricultural Educator. Bachelor degrees in Agribusiness and Wildlife & Natural Resource Management allow her to offer a unique skill set. With a strong heart and positive attitude, she basis and evaluates her lessons on student engagement and fun. She will utilize her strong work ethic to grow alongside any agricultural program.
