Brand marketing campaign raises university profile in Fort Worth

Kristin Jaworski Alumna, 2001 & 2007

Alumni Scott Summy, 1986

A brand marketing campaign started last year, to raise awareness of Tarleton State University among Fort Worth civic and business leaders, continues. Supporting advertising is slated to appear in selected print and broadcast media, as well as billboards and digital media. The ads feature Tarleton Alumni as leaders in their fields.

New ads feature award-winning vocalist and Tarleton faculty member Dr. Heather Hawk; Texas Parks and Wildlife Department urban biologist Sam Kieschnick, and Dr. Kevin Hunt, Director of the Biopharmaceutical Product Development Office for Technology Development and Head of Translational Science Center for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Other Tarleton leaders will be added into the mix, as well.

Ads are airing on KERA Public Broadcasting, appearing in magazines such as Fort Worth, Texas, 360 West and CEO, and on billboards near downtown Fort Worth. Campaign ads are also scheduled to appear on KTXS Channel 5, an NBC affiliate serving the Metroplex, and in programs for performances at Bass Performance Hall.
