Lisa Howe
Assistant to the Vice President
Lisa is the Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. She is the Secretary for Academic Council and the University Curriculum Committee. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a teaching certificate and Master of Arts in Spanish from Ohio University where she participated in study abroad in Spain and Mexico. She came to Tarleton in 1998 having worked at The University of Texas at Austin, School of Law and Department of Educational Administration. Other prior work experiences include Department Secretary at Rice University and staff for the Drama Department at the University of Houston. Lisa lives in De Leon with her husband, hound dog and horses.
Lisa has been teaching Spanish 103, Spanish for Teachers, as an adjunct, and enjoys very much working and teaching at Tarleton.
