Policy and Leadership

The Policy and Leadership option is designed to prepare tomorrow’s environmental leaders through a thorough grounding in policy processes, environmental theory, and the impact that government and governance make on our environment.  This track couples forward-thinking coursework in political science and law, environmental sociology, and other social sciences, with scientific work in agriculture, biology, agronomy, hydrology, and other environmentally-related sciences, all applying domestic and international approaches to environmental problems and the policy that addresses them.  Those completing this track will lead our state, nation, and world in making and administering responsible, ethical environmental policy.
