Advanced Math Placement Exam (AMPE)
Initial placement into the following freshman-level Mathematics courses is based on the results of a student’s performance on an optional Advanced Math Placement Examination. Information concerning this examination is available from Student Assessment Services (254-968-9423; testing@exchange.tarleton.edu; Mathematics Building, Room 201).
- MATH 109 “Plane Trigonometry”
- MATH 111 “Math for Business II”
- MATH 118 “Pre-calculus”
- MATH 120 “Calculus I”
