Mission and Vision
The mission of Career Services is to assist students and alumni in exploring, formulating and implementing career plans to establish successful careers in a diverse world. Career Services actively promotes and supports effective professional relationships between the university community and employers.
The vision of the Career Services Center is to meet the employment needs of students and employers and provide outstanding career development services that positively influence life-long career transitions among its students and graduates. The Center will continue to search for new and better ways to deliver its services and as a result, be recognized by the University community as the #1 resource for career information and programming. This includes having a well-located and equipped facility and a well-trained and sufficient staff.
Tarleton State University's Career Services Center, part of the Division of Student Life, is located in Room 218 of the Thompson Student Center. Career Services includes a library with on-line resources, books and magazines for job searches, as well as references and listings of full-time, part-time, on-campus and internship positions.
