Ms. Leticia Ryan-Carr has been dancing almost as long as she has been walking, joining her first dance team at the young age of four years old.  Mrs. Carr has been a dance team director since the age of 19, receiving her start as the Dance Director of Ranger College, and has continued in the field for the past 17 years, leading her teams on to receive many accolades at both the state and national levels.  Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Studies from Tarleton State University, Leticia went on to coach high school drill team at Copperas Cove High School and her former alma mater, West Mesquite High School. Upon leaving the high school level, Mrs. Carr received her Master of Education Degree in Physical Education from Tarleton State University and became the Director of the Tarleton State University Texan Stars, where she currently still serves as both the Dance Team Director and an Instructor in the Kinesiology Department.

In addition to her college position, Mrs. Carr is also a member of the American Dance and Drill Team Staff where she directs many dance workshops, choreographs and serves as a dance adjudicator.  She choreographs for many high school teams all over Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Leticia's choreography has received many awards and recognition.  Leticia also holds a certification as a Physical Fitness Trainer in Biomechanics and Resistant Training and Water Aerobics. In 2004-2006, Leticia was a dancer and captain for the Texas Tycoon Professional Dance Team in the American Basketball League. She later went on to assist in 2005.  Mrs. Ryan-Carr started the CenTex Barracuda Babes Dance Team for the Indoor Arena Football League in 2006.  She resigned and became full time at Tarleton State University.

In her spare time, Leticia enjoys dancing, working out, reading, playing sports, watching her son play sports, spending time with her many friends and loving family.  Leticia is married to Charlie Carr lll and has two sons, Cameron and Cayden and a step-son, Charlie IV.

Mrs. Ryan-Carr believes that respect is essential for a team, but the three D's are vital for success: Dedication, Determination, and Discipline.
