Admissions: Contestants with numbers, two coaches, and one trainer will be admitted free. There will be an admission charge of $8.00 per day for adults and $5.00 per day for students. A two day pass is available for $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for students.
Entries and Fees: Fees are $14.00 per person per event, non refundable, and must be paid in accordance with instructions shown on the General Information page. A copy of all regional entries must be sent to:

All entries must be emailed or faxed immediately after the district meet. Please submit a typed roster of each team that will be attending the Regional meet. To avoid misspelled names, please make sure that district lists are accurate. Please include the name and phone number of the coach. All district entry lists must have at least the top three finishers from each event, including the first and last names for all contestants in individual and relay events. Also, please include alternates on relays teams. The heating, seeding, and scoring will be administered through a computer program, and above information is needed to ensure a smooth operation. Fax the district results on the required district forms to (254) 968-9674 immediately after your district meet. Your fax cover sheet must include the name and phone number of your meet director of the district meet.
Substitutions: In the event a qualified contestant is unable to compete, the coach or school administrator whose athlete will not compete should notify the coach or school administrator of the next highest place finisher in order that the vacancy be filled.
Guidelines for Scratches at UIL Regional Track and Field Meets: UIL regional qualifiers who were scratched and relinquished their spot to an alternate are not eligible to be reinstated. Scratches or changes, for any reason, cannot be reversed.
Exception: Relays qualify as a school and substitutions will be allowed according to the deadline policy set by the regional meet director.
Regional and State Qualifiers Meets:
- Schools will not be allowed to attend an additional regional qualifiers meet unless they have not met their allowable total of eight meets per student per year.
- Schools that have not participated in any regional qualifiers meet will still be allowed to participate and it will not count against your allowable eight.
- A state qualifiers meet would count in the allowable total of eight meets per student per year.
- Meets, which are limited to three or fewer schools, do not count as meet for participants, provided there is no loss of school time.

Coaches’ Meeting and Packet Pickup: A coaches’ meeting and packet pickup will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday afternoon April 25, 2013 in the Recreation Sports Building. No additions will be made.
Protests: Protest must be filed in writing within 15 minutes of the conclusion of an event. Protest forms will available at the tent located at the finish line. Only head coaches may file a protest. Coaches may not look at pictures of finishes. If a coach has a question, the coach should submit a request in writing for the Meet Referee to look at the finish line tape.

Notes: Track and runways have Rekotan surface—1/4” spikes. Discus ring has a cage.
The no false start rule is in effect.
All contestant must have the Discus and Shot weighed and inspected at the TSU equipment room located NE of the track.
Weigh in Times:
Friday: Discus (8:00 a.m. opens, closes 45 minutes prior to the start of the event.)
Saturday: Shot (8:00 a.m. opens, closes 45 minutes prior to the start of the event.)
The implements will be impounded and brought to the ring before the start of the event. The weigh-in will be located at the TSU equipment room located NE of the track.
Only meet certified implements will be allowed in the stadium.
Throwing Sectors: Throwing sectors will be 34.92 degrees, in accordance with National Federation High School and UIL rules.
The 800 meter run will start from one-half turn stagger and break at the cones. The 1600 and 3200 meter runs will be run in alleys; started with water fall starts and run as a final event.
No radios, video, or digital camcorders, tape recorders, or cell phones are allowed Any Time on the field of competition, track or in the training tent. Such items must remain in the stands only and can be confiscated by meet staff if they are in restricted areas.
Warm Up Area is restricted to the intramural field located due north of the track. There will be no warm ups taken on the football field. We ask that all athletes remove spikes after completion of event. No food or drinks (only water) permitted on the football field.
According to UIL instructions, no coaches are allowed on the infield.
Results: Results and event schedule will be available approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the entire day’s competition. Media members may request results by fax or email by calling 254-968-9174.
