This week’s meeting began by taking the organization’s picture for the Grassbur. After that the President, Travis Sagebiel, made the following announcements:

·        Internships: information concerning various internship experiences are located on the Student Wildlife Society’s website

·        Scholarships: the deadline for The Wildlife Society’s scholarship is Nov. 18^th

After these were announced Randi Baldwin, historian, gave an announcement concerning the Fort Worth Nature Center. They need volunteer help with prescribed burning at a later date either this year or at the beginning of next year. For more information contact her at texantea17@aol.com.

After the announcements our speaker for the evening TPWD Biologist Mike Miller gave his presentation about becoming a TPWD Biologist.

President, Chad Wilson, gave a presentation to the organization over Risk Management.
