Station 1:
Students take a written test on groundwater concepts and vocabulary.
Station 2: Students take a written test utilizing provided resources such as
maps, charts, graphs, models, and scientific publications.
Station 1 and 2 activities will occur from 10 to 10:20 in Rooms 122 and 124.
All teams must be present at those times.
Station 3:
Students build an aquifer that will explain and demonstrate concepts
chosen by the event supervisor.
Station 4: Students use the aquifer built at Station 3 to explain and
demonstrate the required concepts to the judges.
Station 3 and 4 activities will be done on a timed basis starting at 10:30 in
rooms 124 and 127. Sign-up will be at the registration table.
Room 124 will be occupied by one team at a time for model-building. This
team will then proceed into Room 127 for demonstrations by one team at a time.
Water is available in both rooms.
The same team members must be present for all stations.
