Barry B. Thompson Service Award

The Barry B. Thompson Service Award is given annually to a faculty member for his/her contributions to student-faculty relations outside the classroom.  Only full time faculty members whose primary responsibility is teaching are eligible for the award.  The award is presented at an awards dinner in the spring semester and includes $1500 and an appropriate memento.

A selection committee comprised of junior and senior faculty, faculty senators, prior award winners and students will review the nominations and submit their ranked recommendations to the Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs and Student LIfe.
