About the Association

Dear Tarleton Family,

Welcome home! The Tarleton Alumni Association website provides you an opportunity to stay connected with the purple and white. Visit the site for membership information, stay current on TAA event and gatherings, order Tarleton merchandise, and connect with other alums through social networking sites. No matter where you call home, the TAA is only a click away.

The TAA strives to keep Tarleton alumni in touch with the university through a variety of programs and activities. Each year we honor our distinguished alumni at the annual Distinguished Alumni Gala, recognize outstanding graduates at the Alumni Academic Forum, acknowledge an outstanding faculty members with the O.A. Grant Excellence in Teaching Award,  remember faculty, staff, students and alumni who have passed away during the previous year at the Silver Taps Ceremony, the annual TAA/Clyde H. Wells Golf Tournament and who can forget Homecoming! This annual celebration unites alums of all ages through tradition and purple pride.

Alums also stay connected through the many alumni chapters located throughout the state. These chapters have successfully reunited alums through reunions, gatherings, and receptions. The TAA is currently working with several affinity groups to form chapters. These chapters will specialize in bringing together alumni who had a common interest while attending Tarleton. i.e. spirit groups, student organizations, and competitive teams. Look for more information about the formation of the groups throughout the next year.

The TAA is proud to call the Alumni House home. We are located 343 McIlhaney Street. The refurbished home of Tarleton College President, James Cox, is designed to host reunions, dinners, receptions, and community events. It's also a nice place to hang out and catch up with old friends.

Get connected and stay connected to the University that gave you so much. Become a member of the TAA, nominate an alumni for a distinguished recognition, or come see us at Homecoming. Whatever you choose to do, don't delay...get involved today!

Remember "The Gates Are Always Open" at the Tarleton Alumni Center!
