Silver Taps
The Silver Taps Ceremony is held each spring to honor those faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends who have passed away during the previous year. This event is a cooperative undertaking of the student body, Office of External Relations, Tarleton's ROTC Program and Tarleton Alumni Association. The roll call and candle lighting ceremony culminate each year with a processional, placing of the flowers at the base of the Military Memorial, Taps and a 21 gun salute.
