Objectives:

- Describe the difference between unit and lesson planning;
- List the components of a basic lesson plan;
- Create appropriate behavioral objectives utilizing Bloom's and/or Necomb and Trefz Taxonomies;
- Develop quality lesson plans which are properly documented to state curriculum requirements and aligned to the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills;
- Evaluate the quality of lesson plans; and
- Incorporate the lesson cycle into the lesson planning process.
