Objectives:
  1. List the representative organizations of agricultural education in Texas and the Nation and describe the function of each;
  2. List the members of the executive board of directors for agricultural education in Texas;
  3. Describe what each major organization in agricultural education does and why/how you should contact each;
  4. Describe the state structure for agricultural education in Texas;
  5. Describe the scope of agricultural education in Texas;
  6. Calculate funding for career and technology programs in Texas;
  7. Identify TEA web sites for funding; and
  8. Compare the state and national structure of agricultural education.

  6. Review Title I of Perkins 1998 for an understanding of Federal Career and Technology Funding Legislation. Click on the 6th version of the bill and proceed to Title I, Part C.
