Objectives:
  1. Briefly describe three ethical considerations involved in conducting and reporting educational research.
  2. Describe two major pieces of legislation affecting educational research.
  3. Briefly describe each of the components of a research proposal.
  4. Briefly describe two major ways in which a research plan can be evaluated.

 
Activities:
  1. Read Chapter 4 - Preparing and Evaluating a Research Plan
  2. Re-Read Chapter 1 - Pages 19-25 (The Ethics of Educational Research)
  3. Respond to the Blackboard Discussion Post and one other classmate's post for the chapter reading before Monday at Noon.
  4. Agricultural Education submits to APA. Review the APA Code of Ethics for researchers.
  5. Review the policy for ethical publication established by the American Association of Agricultural Educators.
  6. Visit the College of Graduate Studies at Tarleton State University. Review the thesis manual, specifically, the requirements for a thesis proposal.
