Lecture is the prevalent teaching methodology in post-secondary teaching, however, the most effective teachers utilize it correctly and only when appropriate. Students respond in positive ways when teachers utilize a variety of sound teahing methodologies.  Module 5 examines the many other teaching methods that can be utilized to keep students engaged.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this module, you should be able to . . .

5.1. Describe each of the different teaching methodologies.

5.2. Differentiate between teacher and student centered teaching methodologies.

5.3. Implement each of the different teaching methodologies in lessons.
