Born:  October 1, 1947   Grew up in Central Missouri.
Family Status:  Married (11/10/72)   One son, one daughter.
Hobbies/Leisure Pastime Favorites: Contemplating paranormal subjects, casino slot tournaments, fishing, metal detecting (which I have not had time for in too many years).

Nonacademic Work Experience:
 1981-1982:   Geo Vann, Bossier City, Louisiana.  Implemented and directed new inventory records system for controlling explosives and tools used in oil well completions.
1973-1981:   City of Springfield, Springfield, Missouri.  Zoning Enforcement Inspector in charge of developing, implementing and directing a new effective enforcement program for the city's zoning ordinance.  Supervised from one to three employees.
Fall 1972:  Traveled extensively through Europe and the Middle East studying other cultures.
Summer 1972:  Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago, Illinois.  Employed as a temporary city bus operator.
1970-1971:  M.F.A. Insurance Companies (now Shelter), Springfield, Missouri.  Served as a claims adjuster for all lines of insurance.
1969-1970:  Worked at Wickes Lumber and Building Supply while attending Southwest Missouri State University taking courses to become a highschool science teacher.
