About Me
Hello, I am a professor of Health and Physical Education at Tarleton State University. I came
to TSU in 1973 as the head track coach and assistant football coach. I have served as Department Chair of HPE,
athletics director, and Dean of Education during my tenure at
Tarleton. I have returned to
full-time teaching after 16 years in administration.
I am proud of being selected to the
McMurry University Athletic Hall of Fame as a player, the Tarleton Athletic
Hall of Fame as a coach, and the Texas A&M University College of
Education Hall of Fame as an academician.
However, I am most proud of my five grandchildren, Josh,
Chelsea, Gracie, Jacob, and Garrett.
