Catalog Description: Use and function of tests in exercise and sport studies. Test construction and interpretation. Statistical techniques will be reviewed. Prerequisite: Junior classification
Competencies:
· Perform elementary statistical techniques and interpret the results.
· Obtain practical experience administering health related fitness tests.
· Organize, administer, report and participate in a variety of physical movement testing presentations.
Evaluation:
Statistical Exam .25%
Daily quizzes/assignments/lab assignments. .25%
Practicum in health related fitness tests 15%
Participation in Test Administrations* ..10%
Final Examination (comprehensive) ..25%
Note: 3 points will be deducted from final average for each unexcused absence.
