The Texas Journal of Agriculture and Natural Resources publishes articles of recent research work, either descriptive or experimental in nature. Articles from the various disciplines of agriculture and natural resources will be published in the Journal subsequent to critical peer review and approval of the editorial board. Articles submitted for publication in the Journal are to report on work done in Texas by university personnel and their associates. No article is to be submitted for review if the manuscript is under consideration by another journal or magazine. Articles are to be written with critical research analysis but in a style that is easily understood by professional agriculturalists and resource managers. Publication charges are $50.00 per journal page for ACT members and $100 per page for non-ACT members (double the ACT member charge) with a minimum charge of $150.00 per article.
An electronic copy in MSWord of each manuscript, along with the lead author’s complete name, title, mailing address, phone and fax number, and email address, should be submitted to the editorial board member representing the institution from which the article originated. Manuscripts by individuals outside ACT Universities may be submitted directly to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief will select reviewers to serve as referees for the manuscript. One of the referees will be a member of the editorial board and the other a faculty member from one of the ACT universities. For manuscript guidelines, click here.
