Hotel Reservations
Stephenville has several newer hotels along with the older hotels from past conferences. The town also has a few bed & breakfast accomodations. We have blocked rooms at several of the major hotels and negotiated special conference rates. To obtain one of the reserved rooms and obtain the conference rate, you are to tell the hotel that you are with the "AAPT Physics Conference."
Since TSU and the Stephenville area host a large number of rodeo, UIL academic, and sports activities in the spring, you are encouraged to reserve your room as early as possible.
For those interested in camping with their families, a few RV camp sites exist in the Stephenville City Park and there are RV Parks on HWY 6 just South of Stephenville and HWY 377 between Stephenville and Dublin (next town @ 10 miles West). There are extensive camping opportunities at Dinosaur State Park and other commercial sites near the Brazos and Paluxy Rivers in Glen Rose (40 miles East on HWY 67).
