
Born in the spirit of the community in 1999 as Tarleton-Central Texas, Texas A&M University-Central Texas became a stand-alone university on May 27, 2009 as a member of The Texas A&M University System. We know that we have a rich history that involves both the community and military, and provides students with lifelong learning. How do we insure that we effectively reflect that history to the rest of the world? That is why it is important that you, the students, faculty, staff and community of A&M-Central Texas, help us create new traditions by selecting our school colors and mascot.

Results from the final voting period are currently being calculated. The new school colors and mascot for Texas A&M University – Central Texas will be announced at a ceremony in early 2010. Thanks for voting!
