Tarleton State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the bachelor's and master's degrees. Texas A&M University - Central Texas is a part of Tarleton State University and is currently seeking separate accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
