Dr. Teresa (Tracy) Teaff
Texas A&M University - Central Texas named Dr. Teresa (Tracy) Teaff its Academic Dean on July 1, 2008.
As Academic Dean, Dr. Teaff works to help the university achieve stand-alone status by increasing and managing enrollment, expanding course offerings and fostering established relationships with the university’s community partners.
Prior to her appointment as Academic Dean, Dr. Teaff served at the University of North Texas-Dallas in the capacities of Interim Deputy Vice Provost, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Educational Psychology/Special Education Programs and student teacher supervision. Her career has spanned 25 years serving in Texas public schools as a teacher, counselor, coordinator and consultant within special education.
Dr. Teaff, a native Texan, holds a bachelor's degree in education from Baylor University, a master's degree in counseling and special education from Texas A&M Commerce, and a Ph.D. through the Leadership Program in Behavioral Disorders from the University of North Texas. Professionally, she is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders and the Institute for Behavioral and Learning Differences.
