Welcome to the Planetarium!
About Us
Located under the copper dome, in the south-east corner of Tarleton's Science Building, our 40' planetarium is host to approximately 15,000 visitors each year. The vast majority of our guests are students from Pre-K to 6th grade, and come to us from over 200 miles away in some cases. Our programs combine video, sound, photographic transparencies and stellar images from our Digistar II digital starfield projector to bring the wonders of space to our visitors. Please plan on coming to visit us soon.
