Physics Degree Tracks

Traditionally, a large fraction of physics students have combined their interest in physics with an interest in some other field (Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering, etc). Most students do this either with the intent to maximize their preparation for a graduate degree or to tailor their degree for a particular career field that they wish to enter. The classical track allows the student to complete an undergraduate degree in physics with substantial course work in a support field (26 hours). In fact, most TSU students choose to take a couple of extra courses in either their Math or Computer Science support field and obtain a second BS degree.
