Peggy Mancuso, PhD, RN, CNM
Dr. Mancuso is professor of Nursing at Texas Woman's University (TWU). She is a certified nurse midwife and received her PhD from TWU. She also holds a certificate in health informatics. Dr. Mancuso is an accomplished speaker and author. Her honors and awards include Chancellor's research Fellow, and was one of the Great 100 Nurses for Texas Nurses Association districts 3 and 4 and received the Susan Cass Doroghazi Faculty Excellence Award in Teaching. Dr. Mancuso is a Faculty Associate with University of Texas Southwestern Medical College and an Education Fellow, with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Keynote: “Technology Enhanced Health Promotion: A Grassroots Approach.
This will be a grassroots approach to using today’s technology to promote health and educate our patients. We will learn what this means to nursing and the increasing emphasis on keeping the patient out of the hospital.
