PREM Events Lab: Bygone Days on the Bosque

BYGONE DAYS ON THE BOSQUE served as the first Legendary Weddings & Special Events production with event-lab partner the Stephenville Museum.  The event occurred Saturday, 10/9, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with free admission. Public Relations & Event Management (PREM) students helped take 1,300 event visitors on a trip back in time, to frontier days in Erath County.  PREM students were involved in event setup, exhibit coordination, visitor relations, crowd control, and event breakdown/cleanup.  They also supported the museum's fundraising efforts for the Oxford House Preservation Project by working at the silent auction and selling refreshments at the evening concert.  Legendary Weddings & Special Events assistant directors for this semester, Amanda Ritchie and Cody Dodd, supervised students' work at the event.
