Tarleton Jazz Festival
Every year since 1962 the university hosts the Tarleton Jazz Festival. The event is designed for high school and junior high groups to perform for and work with outstanding jazz educators and to hear our amazing guest artists. Recent performers have included:

51st Annual Tarleton Jazz Festival, March 23, 2013
The Tarleton Jazz Festival moves into its sixth decade with guest artist Jeff Coffin. Jeff is currently the saxophonist with Dave Matthews Band! He is a three time Grammy Award winner as a member of Bela Fleck and Flecktones. He also leads his own acclaimed group, the Jeff Coffin Mu'tet which just released its latest CD, Into the Air. This promises to be an exciting concert as Jeff joins the Tarleton Jazz Ensemble for a night of great music. I hope you can join us for the festival and the evening concert.
