PEEPs is offered through the Tarleton State University Department of English and Languages; it is tailored to meet the special needs of those interested in earning a degree through distance learning, especially   (but not limited to) Texas high school teachers who need to be qualified to teach dual credit English courses in their high schools, in response to Texas State House Bill 1 (which requires that 12 hours of dual credit be offered to high school students).
