Available Opportunities
Applicants will still have the opportunity to earn teacher certification and credit towards a master’s degree through Tarleton State University at either the Fort Worth or Killeen locations. Regardless of where you complete your TMATE courses, instruction will be provided by Tarleton State University faculty.
Applicants choosing to pursue certification through the TMATE-FWISD program have the option to submit the TMATE-FWISD application by the March 1 deadline and will be required to teach their internship year within Fort Worth ISD.
Or applicants can submit the Stephenville application by March 31 for courses to be completed at the Fort Worth location and be eligible to teach during the internship year within a 125 mile radius of Stephenville.
Applicants choosing to complete the courses at the Killeen location, TMATE-K, need to submit the Killeen application by the March 31 deadline and will be eligible to teach during the internship year within either a 2 county radius of Bell county or within a 125 mile radius of Stephenville.

The February 18 Information Session is cancelled, but there is one scheduled at TMATE-K on the same date and time.
