Tarleton Sports Medicine celebrated National Athletic Training Month 2013. The 2013 slogan was "Every Body Needs an Athletic Trainer". Tarleton Sports Medicine Staff and Students hosted an information booth in the lobby of Wisdom Gym and were recognized at half-time of the basketball game. TSM also hosted guest speaker, Dennis Hart at the annual Speaker Series. Radio public service announcements were also played during Tarleton basketball games and during the month of March. TSM students also hosted a day that included information and an anatomy puzzle contest.
