Penny Wright (M.Ed.; AFAA; Yoga; Group Exercise & Fitness specialist; Lifeguard & WSI) has completed 37 years as an instructor in the Tarleton State University Kinesiology Department. For 18 years, she served as Director of the Texan Stars Dance Team, 8 years departmental advisor for TPE (majors’ organization), several years as an academic advisor and Director of the Tarleton State University Pool Facility. Throughout the years, she has taught a diverse number of classes including Theory of Gymnastics and Dance, Conditioning and Fitness, Fitness Walking, Bowling, Swimming, Teaching for the Elementary School Child, Test and Measurements, and Wellness. She enjoys biking, jogging, and has a love/hate relationship with cross-fit training. Mrs. Wright loves to travel to visit both her adult sons and spending quality time with her grandson.Picture1 Picture2
