Certification Testing

Professional/Graduate Level

Graduate/Professional Level Students 

Students seeking certification in one of the areas listed below MUST submit the TExES Test Approval Request Form by the Tarleton Registration Deadline. Students should check with the appropriate department prior to submitting the form. Students will be notified by email once the request has been processed and departmental approval granted. The student is then responsible for going online and registering by the ETS registration deadline.

• Principal (offered by paper and continuously by computer)
• Superintendent (offered only during specific computer-administered test windows)
• School Counselor (offered only during specific computer-administered test windows)
• Reading Specialist (offered only during specific computer-administered test windows)
• Educational Diagnostician (offered only during specific computer-administered test windows)
