Semester One
PSY 303 or 220 or HS 300 (required for admission to TEP)
EDU 320: PD I - Understanding Learners
Application to Teacher Education Program completed
Semester Two – Admission to TEP Required
EDU 330: PD II - Effective Instruction
RDG 351: Content Area Reading (prerequisite for EDU 430 or 404)
Application to Student Teaching completed
Semester Three – Semester Prior to Student Teaching (must have placement)
EDU 430 or 404: PD III - Application of Effective Teaching
(If 6-12 Ag Science and Technology, please consult the department for courses and requirements)
Semester Four – Student Teaching
EDU 435: PD IV
EDU 490: Practicum in Teaching
If you took EDU 330 prior to Fall 2008, please see the following notes below:
***Students who have completed EDU 330 will be given credit for the new 330. They will take EDU 320 next, followed by EDU 430 or 404, then EDU 435 and 490.
***Students who have completed EDU 330 and EDU 335 will be given credit for the new EDU 320 and EDU 330. They will take EDU 430 or 404 next, then EDU 435 and 490.
