Wildlife Management Program

About Wildlife Management
The Wildlife Management Program at Tarleton State University is housed in the Animal Sciences and Wildlife Management Department within the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences.
TSU offers students a B.S. degree in Wildlife Management that allows them to meet the educational requirements to become a certified Wildlife Biologist through The Wildlife Society. The certification prepares students for employment in government or private industry and will make them more competitive for jobs due to more specific educational training.
Tarleton also houses a Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society. Our Student Wildlife Society is a growing organization that is open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in the field of wildlife or natural resource management. Our organization was awarded the 2004 Student Chapter of the Year Award by the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society. Membership in this organization is open to all majors.
The TSU Wildlife Management Program is growing rapidly. We look forward to additional course offerings and more research opportunities in the near future. Be a part of this unique program; browse our site for more information or contact us directly.
