Alumni Academic Forum

The Alumni Academic Forum was initiated in 1993 to recognize the outstanding graduates of each of the University's academic colleges and allow them the opportunity to interact with current students in a classroom setting. Each academic college is represented by an alumni who spends the morning in specially selected classrooms speaking to and interacting with students.

Students receive official Tarleton Class Rings at the Fine Arts Auditorium in a special ceremony presented by the Tarleton Alumni Association.
Distinguished Alumni Gala

Distinguished honorees are selected by the Tarleton Alumni Association in five categories (Distinguished Alumnus or Alumna, Distinguished Friend, Distinguished Faculty, Distinguished Staff and Outstanding Young Alumnus or Alumna). Honorees are presented at a black-tie gala.
Silver Taps

Silver Taps is a cooperative undertaking of the student body, the Division of Advancement and External Relations, the Tarleton ROTC and TAA. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends who have died during the previous twelve months are remembered and honored at this roll-call and candle lighting ceremony.
