Mission

The students of Tarleton State University are the only reason we are here. Therefore, we are committed to ASSISTING THE UNIVERSITY in accomplishing its mission and achieving its goals by promoting an environment for private giving.

We will achieve this through:

Identifying, Cultivating, and Educating Prospective Donors
and working with them to develop current and future gifts, which meet the donors' financial and philanthropic intentions while enhancing the University.

Recognizing Donors Appropriately
for their gifts through giving levels and special events.

Keeping Our Constituencies Accurately Informed
of gifts made, giving opportunities and progress made by the University.

Maintaining Committed and Knowledgeable Staff
who continue to develop professional skills and obtain information in order to better serve the University.

I am teaching today because of the scholarships I received while at Tarleton. I saw each scholarship as a direct investment in my life as a teacher. That investment will continue to grow as I invest in each of my students in the classroom. It is a gift that keeps on giving. -Candace Hoggard
